William Kaaumoana Sr.

William Clinton Kaaumoana Sr., 78, of Hilo died May 25, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 20, 1935, in Hilo, he was a retired truck driver for Hilo Transportation and Terminal Co., pastor at “The Way The Truth The Life Fellowship Church” and member of Hilo Hongwanji Judo Club and United States Judo Federation.

Friends may call at 6 p.m. June 12 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. wake service. Friends again may call at 9 a.m. June 13 at the mortuary for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows at Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Lillian Kaaumoana of Hilo; sons, William Kaaumoana Jr. of Los Angeles, Hansel Kaaumoana of Hilo; daughters, Kathy Kaaumoana and Robin (Wade) Amador, both of Hilo; stepsons, Walter Pacheco Jr., Lawrence (Raynette) Pacheco and Jaime (Angela) Pacheco, all of Hilo; stepdaughters, Roberta (Jaime) Trevino of Arizona, Lisa (Simon) Simmons and Marci (Tyler) Arizumi, both of Hilo; sisters, Marjorie Kaaumoana and Lynette (John) Rodrigues Sr., both of Hilo, Theola (Bernard) Kuamoo of Honolulu; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
