George Baker
George William Baker, 96, of Waikoloa died May 25, 2013, at his residence. Born March 1, 1917, in Lincoln, Neb., he was a retired teacher and counselor for School District 7 in Grants Pass, Ore., member of Imiola Congregational Church in Waimea and a World War II Army veteran.
Private services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by daughters, Elaine (Larry) Taylor of Anchorage, Alaska, Sharon (Jim) Skibby of Kailua-Kona; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
