Kaiminani Drive has reopened Saturday night following a deadly crash near Wainana Place in North Kona.

The road was closed shortly after 12:30 p.m., according to the Hawaii Police Department. A man operating a dump truck apparently lost control of the vehicle, striking parked vehicles before crashing into a tree. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
