Big Island Film Festival, which celebrates independent narrative filmmakers and their movies, has selected “Strange Frame” as its winner of the Golden Honu for Best Animated Feature Film.
The film explores the transformative power of love between two women. The dreamlike tale – infused with music – brings viewers into a world of space pirates, indentured slaves and genetic mutations.
The all-star voice cast includes Tim Curry, Claudia Black, Ron Glass, Juliet Landau, Tara Strong, George Takei, Claudia Christian and Alan Tudyk.
