Gabriel “Gabe” Lamakuokanaauao Kenzo Mercado, 10, of Volcano died May 16, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. He was born June 24, 2002, in Hilo.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. June 8 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo, for a 5 p.m. celebration of life. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by parents, Clinton and Keiko Mercado; brother, Eli Mercado; grandparents, Russell and Anne Kokubun, Manuel and Linda Mercado, Jeff and Toni Case; great-grandparents, Mae Ishii, Jean Rapoza, Manuel and Alice Mercado Sr.; aunts, uncles; numerous cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles.
