Paul M. Imaino, 88, of Hilo died May 6, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired revenue officer with the Internal Revenue Service, owner of Paul Imaino Tax Service, former resident of the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home and member of the Japanese Golf Club, Pirates Golf Club, Club Wednesday, National Society of Public Accountants, National Association of Tax Practitioners and National Association of Retired Federal Employees and an Army World War II veteran.

Private services were held. Family requests no flowers or monetary gifts.

He is survived by wife, Alice Imaino of Hilo; son, Wayne (Gay) Imaino of San Jose, Calif.; caughters, Abigail Imaino of California, Janice (King) Pon and Joyce Imaino, both of Hilo; brothers, Tadashi Imaino of Hilo, George (Lorraine) Imaino of Kent, Wash., Robert (Setsuyo) Imaino of Kaneohe, Oahu, Richard Imaino of Campbell, Calif.; sister, Violet (Raymond) Mimaki of Hawaii Kai, Oahu; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
