Lt. Matthew John Pensabene, 51, died April 15, 2013. Born in Syracuse, N.Y., he was commissioned as a Salvation Army officer with the Prayer Warriors Session and was a corps officer to Kona, along with his wife, Kelly.
A celebration of life memorial will be held at 11 a.m. May 25 at The Salvation Army Kona Corps on Kalani Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army.
