Arthur Norris Jones, 84, of Hilo died May 17, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 9, 1928, in Thorsby, Ala., he was a retired engineer for San Jose Steel and West Coast Rebar and veterans of the Army serving in World War II and the Korean War.
Private services will be held. Online condolences may be posted at homelanimemorialpark.com.
He is survived by sons, David (Jenipher) Jones of Hilo, Daniel Jones of Volcano; daughter, Deborah (George) Newton of Campbell, Calif.; brothers, Robert (Bonnie) Jones of Klamath Falls, Ore., Walter (Bobbie) Jones of Hood River, Ore.; two grandchildren.
