The search for a 62-year-old Honokaa man last seen before reportedly going for a swim at Waipio Valley has been called off.

The search for a 62-year-old Honokaa man last seen before reportedly going for a swim at Waipio Valley has been called off.

Kevin Devlin, also known as Shawn Devlin, was last seen between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Monday in the valley, according to the Hawaii Police Department. The search was terminated about 7 p.m. Friday.

Hawaii Fire Department and U.S. Coast Guard personnel called off the search Friday evening after finding no new signs or evidence of the man, according to the fire department. The department utilized a helicopter, ground crews and rescue divers in the search from Kukuihaele to Waimanu Bay.
