Vehicle theft

May 4, a white 1991 Nissan SE pickup truck was reported stolen in the area of 77-6500 Sea View Circle in North Kona. The vehicle has since been located.

May 6, a blue 1998 Honda Civic was reported stolen in the area of 75-5700 Lamaokeola St. in North Kona. It bears license plate No. HFX-492.

Theft from vehicle

May 4, two duffel bags containing miscellaneous clothing was reported stolen from a vehicle in the rear parking lot of Uncle Billy’s Kona Bay Hotel in North Kona.

May 7, an Alpine MP3 player, four racing rims and four tires were reported stolen from a vehicle at the T&T Towing parking lot on Maiau Street in North Kona.

May 8, medication was reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of the former bowling alley off Mamalahoa Highway in Kainaliu in North Kona.

Theft

May 6, sunglasses reported stolen at Jack’s Diving Locker at Honokohau Small Boat Harbor in North Kona. The glasses were later recovered.

Between May 4 and 7, a gas line was cut and 8 gallons of gas was reported stolen from a vehicle that was parked in front of Keauhou Punahele Condominiums off Alii Drive in North Kona.

May 8, a prepaid cell phone and cash was reported stolen from an unattended bag at Kailua Pier in North Kona.

May 8, a bag and cell phone were reported stolen at The Club off Palani Road in North Kona.
