Kinue Furukado
Kinue Murata Furukado, 83, of Hilo died at Hilo Medical Center April 14, 2013. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker and a retired office clerk for both the former Hilo Macaroni and Hawaii Grocers. She was also a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
Private family services were held.
She is survived by her son, Ted M. (Ida) Furukado of Hilo; caregiver and brother, Alan S. Murata of Hilo; brothers Akio (Florence) Murata and Ralph Y. Murata, both of Honolulu; sisters, Miyuki Murata, Virginia Akahoshi and Patsy T. Murata all of Honolulu; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
