Emily Sakaguchi, 92, of Hilo, died April 28, 2013, at the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. Born Dec. 19, 1920, in Hilo, she was a retired preschool teacher. She was a member of the Kaumana Drive Baptist Church.

Friends may call from 4 to 5 p.m. May 10 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo, where a 5 p.m. memorial service will follow. The family requests casual attire.
She is survived by brothers, Harry Sakaguchi of Oahu and Dr. Paul Sakaguchi of California; sisters, Shizuko Loo of Honolulu and Betty (Ray) Someda of Oahu; numerous nephews and nieces.
