Friends may call at 10 a.m. May 11 at the Hawaii Big Game Fishing Clubhouse at Honokohau Harbor for a memorial service. Scattering of his ashes and luncheon will follow. The family requests casual attire.

He is survived by his wife, Dee Ayano of Kailua-Kona; son, David Ayano of Ocean View.
