c Pacific 6, Hawaii 5: Pacific scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth to stun Hawaii on Sunday. The Tigers avoided a three-game sweep by the Warriors in Stockton, Calif.

Erik Lockwood’s walk-off, two-run single off Rainbow reliever Lawrence Chew completed the comeback.

The Tigers manufactured all their ninth-inning runs with two outs. After a Connor Blitzer single cut the lead to 5-3, Dustin Torchio made it a one-run game with an RBI double and left a pair of runners in scoring position for Lockwood, who completed a 4-for-5 day with his game-winning single.

Torchio went 3-for-5 for Pacific (11-31 overall, 4-14 in Big West), and Blitzer went 2-for-3.

Chew (2-2) was tagged with the loss, and Tiger reliever Jason Taasaas (2-0) earned the win in two complete scoreless innings of work. Starter Matt Cooper delivered a very serviceable outing for the Warriors, allowing two runs with four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings of work.

Trevor Podratz went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and was the only player from Hawaii (11-30, 6-12) to get at least two hits.
