Cynthia Loper, 52, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest March 25 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. She was sentenced to pay $437, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Justin E. Sharp, 27, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty March 25 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $1,074 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Rolanda L. Kahalioumi, 25, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty March 28 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. She was sentenced to pay $1,224 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Benjamin B. Rafol, 22, of Honokaa pleaded no contest March 28 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance. He was sentenced to pay $1,134 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also suspended.
David Bejang, 30, of Hawaiian Ocean View Estates pleaded no contest April 3 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $974 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment.
Kris Parr, 56, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest April 4 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and third-degree promoting a detrimental drug. He was sentenced to pay $517 in fines and fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Eric Keoki Kennel, 23, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest April 4 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $437 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Alexander Scott Hensley, 24, of Waimea pleaded no contest April 11 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also revoked.
In Bea Kim, 52, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty April 11 driving under the influence of an intoxicant and third-degree promoting a detrimental drug. Kim was sentenced to pay $967 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. Kim must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.
Patrick Quanan, 38, of Kealakekua pleaded guilty April 11 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and third-degree promoting a detrimental drug. He was sentenced to pay $767 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
