The contest ended after six innings because of time constraints.
Na Alii, the Oahu Interscholastic Association’s No. 3 seed in the 12-team tournament, ended its season 12-6 while the Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion Warriors finished 17-3.
Aiea took the lead for good in fifth when Strom-Okimoto, who went 2-for-4, tripled and scored on a wild pitch. Vanessa Lopez-Aho capped the inning with a two-run double that gave Na Alii a 6-1 lead.
Kamehameha had tied the game in top of the fourth when Jaylen Shiroma doubled to left, stole third and scored on Elizabeth Kia’s run-scoring single to left.
Kia finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs, highlighting a two-run sixth with an RBI single.
The Warriors couldn’t generate much more against Strom-Okimoto, who struck out three and walked one.
Mykala Tokunaga took the loss for Kamehameha, allowing six runs on six hits. She struck out two and walked four.
