Richard W. “Dick” Tenderella, 67, of of Kapaau died April 11, 2013, at Maui Memorial Hospital. Born June 12, 1945, in Portland, Ore., he was a Navy veteran, worked for the Oregon State Police, served as a volunteer at North Hawaii Hospice.
A memorial service was held April 27 in Oregon. Plans for a memorial service in Hawaii are pending. Those wishing to make a charitable contribution in hiss name are invited to consider North Hawaii Hospice, 65-1328 Kawaihae Road, Kamuela, HI 96743.
He is survived by companion, Sandie Rossi of Hawi; sister, Kathy Hudson of Oregon; brothers, David Tenderella and
Larry Tenderella, both of Oregon.
