Ayano Sadanaga, 96, of Papaikou died at the Hilo Medical Center April 19, 2013. Born in Onomea, she was a homemaker and a member of the Hilo Taishoji Soto Mission Kyodan and Fujinkai.
Friends may call at the Dodo Mortuary chapel May 7 from 4 to 5:30 p.m., where a funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m., followed by cremation. The family requests that casual attire be worn to the services.
She is survived by her son, Scott Sadanaga of Papaikou; brother, Satoru Okimoto of Papaikou; sister, Kimie (Seiji) Aoki of Papaikou; numerous nieces and nephews.
