Richard “Rick” Allen Freeman, 66, of Kapaau died April 24, 2013, at his residence. Born June 17, 1946 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he was a retired California firefighter and Marine Corps Reserve veteran.
Friends may call at 3:30 p.m. May 5 at the family’s residence in Kapaau for a celebration of life, blessing at 4:30 p.m. and barbecue. Family requests casual or aloha attire be worn. For information, call 889-6725.
He is survived by wife, Teri Freeman of Kapaau; son, Drew (Tonya) Freeman of Jacksonville, Fla.; mother, Joyce Freeman of Palmdale, Calif.; brother, Randy Freeman of San Diego; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
