Misao Tanaka, 103, of Hilo died April 8, 2013, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. Born Sept. 3, 1909, in Hilo, she was retired seamstress for the former Kamehameha Garment Co. and member of Waiakea Homestead Chuo Kumiai and Puna Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
She is survived by daughter, Dorothy Talbott of Hilo; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
