Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with numerous theft and fraudulent use of credit card investigations.

On March 24, an unidentified man used a stolen credit card at several retail establishments in the Hilo and Puna districts, police said.
Police described him as a local Caucasian-Portuguese mix, about 5-foot-9-inches, 165 pounds with a skinny build and a fair complexion.
Police ask anyone with information on his identity or location call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID.
