The free five-hour event, held at Kealakehe High School, showcased the unique treasures of Hawaii Island with numerous hands-on activities and educational booths, as well as entertainment and locally-made food. Attendees discovered how they can support native habitats, live healthy and help increase our island sustainability.

The event was presented by the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce, West Hawaii Community Health Center, Kealakehe High School and University of Hawaii Sea Grant College. It was sponsored by Fair Wind, AlohaCare, Hawaii Forest & Trail and West Hawaii Today.
