Paul M. Keliipio Jr., 54, of Hilo, died March 30, 2013, at home. Born in Hilo, he was a former maintenance engineer with the former King Kamehameha Hotel in Kona, worked in the housekeeping department at Hilo Medical Center and was a member of Haili Church (Kuhio Chapel).

Friends may call at 4 p.m. April 21 at Old Kona Airport Park’s third pavilion for a 5 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 10 a.m. April 27 at Coconut (Moku Ola) Island in Hilo for an 11 a.m. service, followed by a scattering of his ashes at sea. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

He is survived by daughters, Kahea (Malik Williams) Keliipio, of Kailua-Kona, Trisha (Shayne Kedekein) Mundon, of Kona; son, Christopher Mundon, of Honolulu; sister, Pauline Young, of Hilo; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
