Alternating lane closures in both directions continue this week for roadway reconstruction work on Mamalahoa Highway between Hina Lani Street and Old Kona Village Road in North Kona, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Alternating lane closures in both directions continue this week for roadway reconstruction work on Mamalahoa Highway between Hina Lani Street and Old Kona Village Road in North Kona, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be effect on Mamalahoa Highway between Waiea and Yee Hop Ranch roads, in the vicinity of Kaapuna to Kaohe, for roadway reconstruction work in South Kona, according to the department.

Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be effect on Mamalahoa Highway between Kukui Camp and North Peck roads, south of the Waikoloa Road intersection, for road work in South Kohala, according to the department.

Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be effect on Akoni Pule Highway in the vicinity of Hawi and Kapaau for roadway reconstruction work in North Kohala, according to the department.

Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be effect on Kohala Mountain Road in the vicinity of Kahua Ranch, between mile markers 12 and 13, for drainage improvement work in North Kohala, according to the department.

Crews will be working from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Road work is weather permitting.
