Richard William Nystrom, 77, of Kurtistown died April 6, 2013, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born Oct. 21, 1935, in Kearny, N.J., he was a retired Navy quartermaster chief and Vietnam War veteran.
Private services were held.
He is survived by companion, Marciana Turner of Kurtistown; son, Richard (Donna) Nystrom of Glen Burnie, Md.; daughters, Cindy (Terry) Delaney of Cincinnati, Lisa (Jim) Kingsley of Rochester, N.Y.; seven grandchildren.
