Chaminade’s famous upset of Virginia in 1982 took place at Blaisdell Arena on Oahu. It led to the creation of the Maui Classic, now the Maui Invitational.
The information in Tuesday’s Short Hops incorrectly identified the game as taking place during the Maui Invitational.
