Craig Geale, 42, of San Francisco pleaded no contest Feb. 4 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $912 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Uluaki V. Tapaatoutai, 50, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Feb. 6 to driving under the influence of alcohol in two separate cases. He was sentenced to pay $824 in fees, in addition to undisclosed fines, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Monico Cuevas Ramos, 43, of Kealakekua pleaded guilty Feb. 6 to driving under the influence of alcohol. Ramos was sentenced to pay $412 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Kathlina Joseph, 38, of Ka‘u pleaded guilty Feb. 6 to driving under the influence of alcohol. She was sentenced to pay $412 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. She must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.
Randall K. Naihe, 35, of Captain Cook pleaded no contest Feb. 7 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $912 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Joshua K. Pacheco, 28, of Waimea pleaded no contest Jan. 3 to driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a license previous suspended for DUI and refusing to submit to testing for alcohol. He was sentenced Feb. 7 to pay $736 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time and his license was revoked.
John M. Roser, 27, of South Kona pleaded guilty Feb. 7 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $912 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. He must also perform an unspecified number of community service hours and his license was revoked.
