Alva Shunji Ushiroda, 83, of Kealakekua died Feb. 26, 2013, in Holualoa. He was a retired salesperson for Hilo Motors, member of the Bank Kumiai and Disabled American Veterans and an Army veteran.
Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. April 6 at Central Kona Union Church in Kealakekua for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire and no flowers.
He is survived by wife, Lilly Ushiroda; daughters, Debbie (Ron) Kiaaina, Cindy Ushiroda; sisters, Thelma Ushiroda, Ruth (Albert) Kunitomo; two grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews.
