Masanori Nakamura
Masanori “Masa” Nakamura, 80, of Honomu died March 10, 2013, at Hospice of Hilo’s Pohai Malama Facility. Born Feb. 2, 1933, in Honomu, he was a retired executive chef for Oahu Country Club, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Honomu Hongwanji Mission.
Private services were held. The amily requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
He is survived by wife, Keiko Nakamura, of Honomu; stepson, Mark (Katie) Toguchi, of Anaheim, Calif.; brother, Yoshinori (Shirley) Nakamura, of Hilo; numerous nieces and nephews.
