Big Island police are searching for a 15-year-old Kona girl reported missing.

Shellsea W. Gouveia-Asuncion has been missing from her home since March 6, according to the Hawaii Police Department. She may be in Kona or Hilo.

She is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 105 pounds with brown eyes, short black hair and a fair complexion, according to police. She wears plugs in both earlobes.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Robert Sakata at 326-4646, ext. 276.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
