Kenneth “Ken” Allen Moyer, 75, of Kurtistown died Feb. 11, 2013, at Tripler Army Medical Center on Oahu. Born Aug. 9, 1937, in Vancouver, Wash., he was a retired first sergeant for the Army.

Friends may call at 11 a.m. March 24 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo, for a noon service. Family requests casual attire be worn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tripler Fisher House, 315 Krukowski Road, Honolulu, HI 96819.

He is survived by wife, Amy Moyer of Kurtistown; sons, Mark (Laura) Moyer of Highland, Calif., John Moyer of Keaau; daughter, Paula (Janis) Golubeckis of Saint Marcus, Calif.; sister, Barbara (Newell) Denny of Colorado; four grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
