Hawaii Island police are searching for a 17-year-old Kona boy who was reported missing.

Chance Gorelangton-Kuanoni was last seen Dec. 10, 2012, in Kailua-Kona, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds with brown eyes, black wavy hair and a dark complexion. He may be in Kona or South Kohala.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Officer Robert Sakata at 326-4646, ext. 276, or the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
