Robert Louis “Ah Choi” Wong, 76, of Hawi died on March 1, 2013 at home. Born on July 17, 1936, in Mountain View, Hawaii, he was a retired flight catering truck driver for Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. He also was a member of the Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Friends may call March 16 at the Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church for visitation at 8 a.m. and Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. His family requests casual attire. Urn burial follows at the Hawi Catholic Cemetery.

He is survived by wife, Janie Leinaala Kapeliela Wong of Hawi; daughter, Jennifer (Howard) Wong Hise of Chantilly, Va.; one grandson, Tyler Mokana Hise of Chantilly, Va.; sisters, Alice May Wong of Hilo and Maile (Richard) Batalome of Portland, Ore.; brother, Lawrence (Gail) Wong of Honolulu; brothers in-law, Val Ah Loy and Herbert De Silva of Honolulu; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
