The Hawaii Fire Department rescued an opihi picker from the Kings Landing area Friday morning.
According to the department, the opihi picker, who was not identified, got into trouble in the water. Bystanders pulled the victim to shore. Rescue workers extricated the victim and performed CPR and advanced life support on the way to Hilo Medical Center.
