Lia Galdeira collected enough honors to fill an entire trophy case when she helped lead Konawaena’s girls basketball team to three Hawaii High School Athletic Association state titles in four years.

She may need another trophy case.

Galdeira, now a freshman at Washington State, earned three All-Pac-12 conference honors on Monday.

In a Pac-12 media vote, Galdeira was selected to the All-Pac-12 team, the All-Defensive team and the All-Freshman team — she was the only player voted onto the first two teams.

Galdeira enters this week’s Pac-12 conference tournament as the nation’s top-scoring freshman at 14.7 points per game. She also leads the Pac-12 in steals with 81.

Galdeira has scored 20 or more points in a game four times this season, including a Washington State freshman record 33 in a season-opening 87-83 double-overtime loss at Minnesota on Nov. 10.

The eighth-seeded Cougars (10-19 overall, 6-12 Pac-12) will face Arizona State (13-17, 5-13) in a first-round Pac-12 tournament game at 4 p.m. HST Thursday at Seattle’s KeyArena.
