Responding to an 8 p.m. call Friday, officers discovered a 62-year-old woman, identified as Carolanne Perry of West Valley City, Utah, had been night diving when she experienced difficulty swimming. She was assisted back to the boat, where cardiopulmonary resuscitation efforts began, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

The case has been classified as a coroner’s inquest. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death, police said.
