William “Bill” “Russian” Henry Muragin, 86, of Hilo, died Feb. 17, 2013, at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born on Dec. 29, 1926, in Waikii, he was a retired welder for Hilo Iron Works and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on March 4 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m.; burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #2. The family requests casual attire.
He is survived by a son, Clifford Muragin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
