Wallace T. Nakayama, 70, of Hilo died on Feb. 12, 2013. Born in Hilo, he was a construction superintendent with Willocks Construction. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Private services were held. The family requests that monetary donations (koden) be omitted.
He is survived by his brothers, Robert (Anita) Nakayama of Tacoma, Wash., Bert (Irma) Nakayama of Hilo and Larry (Suzanne) Nakayama of Hilo; sisters, Elaine Nobuhara of Gardena, Calif., Lillian Watanabe of Hilo, Judith (Stanley) Fujiyama of Hilo and Kay (Masao) Oshiro of Waipahu, Oahu; numerous nieces and nephews.
