Barron Berning
Barron Frederick Berning, 69, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 12, 2013, at Kona Community Hospital. Born May 21, 1943, in Ann Arbor, Mich., he was the owner and operator of Builder’s Exchange Hawaii, member of the Kona Rotary Club and a Navy veteran.
Private services were held.
He is survived by wife, Ellen Berning of Kailua-Kona; sons, Matthew (Julie Lusk) Berning of Santa Rosa, Calif., Nicholas (Kathryn Morrison) Berning of Bellingham, Wash.; daughter, Anne Berning of Santa Monica, Calif.; brother, Robert (Thuy Vo) Berning of San Jose, Calif.; sister, Linda Engle of York, Pa.; a granddaughter.
