‘The Mousetrap’ opens tonight in Waimea
Waimea Community Theatre, directed by Felicity Johnson, will stage Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” at Parker School, 65-1224 Lindsey Road, Waimea. The two-weekend run begins tonight.
The story follows a handful of guests arriving at Monkswell Manor who find themselves isolated by a storm and soon discover there may be an intended murder victim among them — or even a murderer. The constabulary arrives on skis, mayhem ensues and the audience is treated to a classic whodunit such as only Christie can spin.
“The Mousetrap” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 3 p.m. Sundays, today to March 3.
General admission is $15 for adults; $13 for senior citizens and students; and $10 for children.
Tickets are available at Waimea General Store and Without Boundaries in Waimea and at Suite Possibilities in Kailua-Kona. Tickets will also be sold at the door, 30 minutes before each performance, and in advance by cast and crew members.
