Douglas Bohol Sr.

Douglas Bohol Sr., 62, of Alaska and formerly of the Big Island died Dec. 6, 2012, in Alaska. Born Sept. 19, 1950, in Hilo, he worked at the Providence Medical Center in Alaska, previously worked on the Big Island at Otani Construction and Fair Construction Co. and Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo.

Friends may call noon to 6 p.m. Feb. 24 at Wailoa State Park’s large pavilion for a celebration of life. Family requests casual attire be worn. Lei are welcome.

He is survived by wife, Christine Bohol of Alaska; daughters, Darisa (Tyson Kahakai) Bohol and Desirae Bohol, both of Alaska; sons, Douglas (Rhona Serion) Bohol Jr. of Kona, Desmond (Victoria Calizo-Lovell) Bohol and David (Crystal Lucas) Bohol, both of Hilo, Dennis (Trishamae Calizo-Lovell) Bohol of Alaska; brother, Engracio (Mary) Bohol Jr. of York, Pa.; sisters, Lillian Chuk and Serefina Jones, both of Montana; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
