Donald Nathaniel

Donald Kelii Nathaniel, 78, of Hilo died Feb. 14, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired harvester and pruner for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo and Big Island National Guard Retirees Association.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. Feb. 26 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for an 11 a.m. service. Burial follows at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is sSurvived by daughter, Donna (Dan) Okinaka of Hilo; sons, Mike Nathaniel, Jay (Jessilen Kaleohano) Nathaniel and Greg Nathaniel, all of Hilo; sisters, C.J. (Kenneth) Kodani of Mountain View, Lillian Kailipaka and Grace Rapoza, both of Hilo; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
