Janice Doreene Morgan, 73, of Hawi died Jan. 26, 2013, at home. Born Nov. 6, 1939, in St. Francis, Kan., she was the owner of the Kohala Book Shop in Kapaau.

She is survived by husband, Frank Morgan of Hawi; daughter, Roxanne Morgan of Sacramento, Calif.; son, John Morgan of Berkeley, Calif.; brother, James Hardt of Ashland, Ore.; two grandchildren.
