Haroldine “Haro” Leona Kaheiki Ventura, 59, of Hilo died Feb. 6, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Jan. 14, 1954, in Hilo; she was a homemaker and a member of the Soka Gakkai International-USA-Hilo.

Haroldine “Haro” Leona Kaheiki Ventura, 59, of Hilo died Feb. 6, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Jan. 14, 1954, in Hilo; she was a homemaker and a member of the Soka Gakkai International-USA-Hilo.

A pot luck and celebration of her life will be held at noon on Feb. 17 at Four Miles Beach Park in Hilo. The family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by companion, Lauren Kahumoku of Hilo; son, Anthony Ventura Jr. of Hilo; daughter, Kiki (John Lopez) Ventura of Hilo; brothers, Francis (Tillie) Kaheiki of Lakewood, Wash., George (Kathleen) Kaheiki of Hilo, Steven Kaheiki of Hayward, Calif.; sisters, Barbara (Ira) Kekaualua, Bernadette Roberts, Jeri Spencer of Hilo, Rose (Gilbert) Chu of Hayward, Calif., Gina (Charles) Mahoe of Fort Drum, N.Y.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
