Big Island police are warning North Kona residents about door-to-door salespersons.

Police on Thursday received from residents in Kona Highlands as well as Kona Palisades of an unidentified man walking door-to-door soliciting his services, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He was unable to provide proper identification for the business.

Police are reminding the public that when approached at your residence by door-to-door salespersons to use caution and ensure the person provides proper personal and company information.
