Big Island police are investigating multiple thefts of hundreds of pounds of coffee parchment over the past two weeks from two companies in Ka’u
The first three thefts were from a property on Wood Valley Road. In those incidents, unknown persons removed about 1,300 pounds of coffee parchment, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
The most recent theft occurred Saturday when about 1,000 pounds of coffee parchment was taken from a property on Kaalaiki Cane Haul Road, according to police.
The combined value of the stolen goods is $21,700, according to police.
