Sally “Mama Sally” Ramos Ventura, 57, of Waimea died Jan. 26, 2013, at her daughter’s residence. Born on Nov. 13, 1955, in Bagani Obbog, Candon City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a housekeeping supervisor at Hilton Grand Vacations, manager/supervisor at the Fairmont Orchid Mauna Lani, Hapuna Prince Hotel, and housekeeper at Mauna Lani Hotel & Bungalows and Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.

Friends may call Feb. 8 at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea, where visitation will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the service begins at 7 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held from 9 a.m. to sunset Feb. 9 at Spencer Park on the Kohala Coast. The family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by husband, Bradly Ventura of Waimea; daughters, Geraldine (William) Neeley of Tomball, Texas, Elizabeth (Randall) Kualii of Hilo, Ashton (Mark) Millet of Waimea; sons, Bradly (Marilou Schmidt) Ventura Jr. of Waikoloa, Brandon (Asela Vallente) Ventura of Honokaa; sisters, Amelia (J. Gray) Freedland of Ridgefield, Wash., Victoria Ramos-Anglin of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
