Francis “Tora” Satoshi Yamamoto, 65, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 28, 2013, at his residence. Born Aug. 30, 1947, in Kealakekua, he was an electrician with IBEW Local Union 1186, worked after retirement at Makalei Golf and Kona Country clubs, an Army veteran and member of the Honaunau Kumiai No. 1, Kona Japanese Civic Association, Lolo Golf and Kona Junior Golf.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. Feb. 10 at Kona Hongwanji Mission in Kealakekua for a 4 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

He is survived by mother, Sumiko Yamamoto of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Cy (Rosemarie) Yamamoto of Kona, Kerry (Nancy) Yamamoto of Ocean View Estates; sisters, Peggy Ciriako of Kona, Naomi (Edmund) Yamagata and Sandra Taosaka, both of Kealakekua; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
