Big Island police have identified three of the victims involved in a crash that claimed five lives Wednesday morning south of Pahala.

The victims identified were Donald Ingoglia, 73, of Sacramento, Calif.; Philip A. Ingoglia, 39, of Costa Rica, and Isidora Ingoglia, 9, said Hawaii Police Department spokeswoman Chris Loos.

They were all occupants in a white Nissan Altima sedan that apparently crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2002 Ford F-350 dually, according to police.

Hilo resident Kuuipo Taylor-Lindsey identified the victims in the truck as her father, Richard Taylor and his girlfriend Trini Ballesteros, of Naalehu.
