Shaun Kagawa is still deciding on his college destination. But first the Kamehameha-Hawaii senior has got one more high school football game to play.

Kagawa was one of five players from Hawaii, and the only Big Islander, selected to play in the Polynesian All-American Bowl today in Los Angeles.

“I was pretty excited about it when I found out, and I didn’t really expect it,” said Kagawa, who played cornerback and running back for the Warriors last season in the Big Island Interscholastic Federation.

“It’s definitely a chance for me to represent myself and my family. An opportunity to compete at another level and represent the outer islands.”

When he returns from Southern California, one of his next orders of business will be to finalize his college choice.

He’s got a scholarship offer from the University of Hawaii, and he’s also consider Army, Navy, Arizona State and Oregon State.
